Mandate of the Division
According to the mandate, The Statistical Monitoring and Evaluation Cell (SM&EC) provides Professional
Statistician’s support to the various Divisions of NCDC office.
The activities carried out by the SM&EC are broadly categorized as under:
- Participation in teaching and training of Statistics to the participants of various courses/training programmes organized by NCDC.
- Provide statistical support to all Divisions in planning research studies and interpretation of data.
- Conducting Training programmes on Biostatistics including computer training for NCDC officers/staff including those of officers/staff of NCDC branches.
- Preparation of timely reports and records on Cholera and H1N1 Cases tested by Microbiology Division of NCDC.
- Providing Administrative support for conduct of 2-year MPH (FE) programme.
